Hello all,
Please find the picture of my first Quilt of Honor, now in the arms of a 2 year old girl. She never got to meet her Daddy. Thanks to all of you who have donated your time, opinions, advice, fabric and money; I am able to get Quilts of Honor up and running. I have two more quilts in the works today, and a list of them waiting.
Please pass my information on to others so I can reach the families who have lost a loved one in the war, and make a quilt for their child, or children. I have been blessed with many donations of wonderful fabric from so many great friends, and their friends. I recently had a 40-yard roll of batting donated. What I really need now is more gold stars. I found them at Jo Ann fabrics. They are about 1 1/4", come four to a pack. I am trying to find a company that makes the service ribbons so I can sew on a piece of the ribbon on each quilt.
